Watching in the Rapeseed
Watching in the Rapeseed
I spent many many mornings and evenings during the course of a year photographing hares in a multitude of settings - all the arable food groups were represented. I ended with about twenty shots I was really happy with - no mean feat given the nervousness of the hares and the speed they disappear. This was probably my favourite hare experience. I spent a few minutes not far from this majestic animal before it made its way off. The muted pastel colours of the ripening rapeseed really add to the calm scene. It looks particularly good on high gloss aluminium. In an edition of 45.
