The Autumn Cherry
The Autumn Cherry
A lone wild cherry tree sits in a clearing in Farley Mount. It was a calm Autumn day and the colours on the tree were fabulous. I shot it morning and evening. This shot was actually taken at dusk which enabled a more even balance of light on the leaves and the trunk. A long exposure was made possible by the lack of wind. I have not found a finer wild cherry yet. It stands alone so can be isolated against the background and suffers no interference from other trees. Available in a portfolio edition of 50 and and edition of 15 larger prints.
