The Autumn Avenue, Moor Crichel, Dorset
The Autumn Avenue, Moor Crichel, Dorset
During the first lock-down I was looking into places to photograph that would not involve over-popular coasts or hills and were pretty close to me. I decided that avenues of trees could fit the bill so I looked through maps and google earth to find possibilities. This one at Moor Crichel in Dorset stood out and as I subsequently discovered, is fairly famous and well photographed, particularly, interestingly, with car afficionados. I photographed it a few times from summer to Autumn from this direction and from the other end; this was my favourite. The mellow light adds to the Autumn hues from the beech. Limited to 45 prints.
Prints are made on traditional, silver-halide photographic paper with a lustre finish and a border around the image of approx 1”. I can make prints on gloss paper (same price) or giclee cotton-rag papers (surcharge of approx 25% applies) Please ask me if you would prefer this. The aluminium panels I offer are a contemporary equivalent of cibachrome prints - with amazing depth and richness of colour. I also offer acrylic faced prints mounted on composite dibond panels. If the size you want is not listed please get in touch; I can produce images up to 60” wide. Prints need to be made to order so are likely to take up to 14 days, framed images up to 21 days. If an order is urgent please get in touch.
