Dawn at Durdle Door (panorama)
Dawn at Durdle Door (panorama)
I shot this before Durdle Door hit global lock-down fame. When I visited pre-covid for a couple of dawn shoots there were never more than a few people. Perhaps one or two people on the cliffs and one or two on the beach - including the litter picker employed by the estate. It is however a difficult location to shoot at dawn. The arch needs side / directional light on it to add definition but at dawn this only happens during the height of the summer - the rest of the year the sun rises behind the arch. Limited to 35 prints.
Prints are made on traditional, silver-halide photographic paper with a lustre finish and a border around the image of approx 1”. I can make prints on gloss paper (same price) or giclee cotton-rag papers (surcharge of approx 25% applies) Please ask me if you would prefer this. The aluminium panels I offer are a contemporary equivalent of cibachrome prints - with amazing depth and richness of colour. I also offer acrylic faced prints mounted on composite dibond panels. If the size you want is not listed please get in touch; I can produce images up to 60” wide. Prints need to be made to order so are likely to take up to 14 days, framed images up to 21 days. If an order is urgent please get in touch.
